The Reverend Dan Sylvia
Fr. Dan Sylvia is the Rector (Pastor) of Redeemer Church. You will rarely meet a more enthusiastic visionary or empathetic pastor! Dan’s passion is to draw people into experiencing life in Christ in big, fun and meaningful ways. He is also passionate about family, promoting healthy relationships, unity and faith in the home.
Fr. Dan studied Visual Arts and Secondary Education in college before becoming a high school teacher and mental health counselor. After working for six years in these fields, he answered the call to ministry and became a Pastor of Youth and Family Ministry. During that time he studied at Bethel Seminary. After eight years in youth and family ministry, he became the Rector here at Redeemer! Dan is happily married to Lisa, has six amazing sons and enjoys sports and coffee.
