UPDATE! March 13 - 4pm:

Given the recent communications to the town of Franklin, and in light of continuing precautions we are strongly urging everyone to worship from home via the live-stream. We will be streaming as usual on our Facebook page as well as on our website (redeemerfranklin.org). We will be open for this Sunday’s worship service but want to stress anyone who is concerned about gathering, or is vulnerable and/or at risk to the virus that we encourage you to stay safely at home and worship with us there.

“Do not be anxious about anything, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God. And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in

Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:6-7)

Dear Redeemer Family,

Given the reality of the Coronavirus we want to take appropriate precautions in order to maintain a safe and healthy environment to worship here at Redeemer. This will include a number of changes in some of our Sunday morning activities and procedures along with some changes in the way we use our facility.

  • Our services will commence at their normal time - worship will still be at 10:15am.

  • For the duration of Lent and through Easter there will be no Journey or Crew classes on Sunday Mornings.

  • The nursing home ministries will be suspended for March and April (clergy care, if allowed by site, will still be available to those populations).

  • Cleaning frequency has been increased to maintain a sanitary space.

  • Sanitizer, as available, will be placed around the worship area.

  • Offering Baskets will be at the back of the Church for people to donate/tithe as opposed to passing them around.

  • There will be no food given during fellowship time following service, we are still working out a way to provide coffee and hot drinks. Meeting outside for fellowship time as weather permits will be encouraged.

  • Doors to the worship space and to the outdoors will remain open weather permitting.

  • Bulletins will be placed on seats prior to Worship.

  • Small groups will continue at discretion of each site leader.

  • Redeemer service will still broadcast on our facebook page. We are looking at other online hosting sites as well.

  • Clergy care and visitation, and prayer ministry are, as always, available by request.

  • We encourage everyone who attends Redeemer to take wise precautions if they are sick. Please reach out to clergy or the main office if you have any questions or need care (dan.sylvia@redeemeranglicanchurch.org, 508-346-3423).

Please stay home if you are sick or are someone who may have be vulnerable or have a high-level of risk for infection. If you or anyone in your family has flu-like symptoms, such as a fever or cough, please stay home from church services and events. As you are able watch the live stream on facebook.

Also attached is a letter from Archbishop Beach in regards to Covid-19 and best practices, and our confidence in Christ.

We do not want to cause undue stress or anxiety with these measures but believe this is a moment to remind ourselves of the precautions we should take to keep each other safe and healthy as we make our way through this season. As we continue to be faithful to God in our worship and in our lives, let us remember this is a time in which our faith can be a beacon to the people around us. Let us love one another well, despite our circumstances, joyfully worshipping God in all of our lives!
