WHAT TO EXPECT IN WORSHIP
When you join us on a Sunday, we hope you'll have a powerful experience of being met by the Living God.
First and foremost, expect to be greeted with warmth.
We look forward to your visit, and when you come to the door there will be someone there to shake your hand and answer any questions you may have. Expect a friendly place: worshipping, learning, laughing, talking and drinking coffee together each Sunday.
You'll find people from all walks of life, some dressed up and others wearing more casual attire.
We sing a blend of contemporary and ancient worship songs – both hymns and modern choruses.
We follow a liturgy (structure for worship) which includes prayers said by the congregation, a public reading of scripture, and a corporate confession of sin.
We believe God uses the faithful preaching of His Word to change lives. Our sermons seek to have enough depth for the life-long disciple and enough clarity for someone new to the faith.
We celebrate Holy Communion (also called the Eucharist) every Sunday. The bread and wine are offered to any baptized believer in Jesus Christ, regardless of denominational background. Prayer is always available during Communion and healing prayer is available after the service.
Our service runs approximately an 1 - 1 1/2 hours. A nursery/cry room with service audio is available. Children are encouraged to join adults for the entirety of service or take part in our Church School (age 3-grade 4) for a portion of the service. All are invited to gather for coffee and snacks following service.
